TL, DR version: The idea was to create a female heroine who doesn't fit the (rather silly) standard of beauty in fiction (that is, supermodel-thin with disproportionately huge gazongas).

Tigerbolt is Lord of the Sky and Goddess of Balance. She is one of three divine beings who rule over the planet, with the other two being Dragonwake (Lord of the Sea, God of Chaos) and Hogfire (Lord of the Earth, God or Order).

The three are usually content to manage their own realms, but lately the other two Lords have gotten greedy and are now trying to snuff one another out. Fed up with their bickering, Tigerbolt has decided to give their forces beatdowns until they both give up.

In any case, humanity is doomed.

I really love this design! I think she really completes the feel of a non-conventional superheroine. Some of the other posts I've seen make a little, ah, less sense, but I feel like she fully fits her description. She's a goddess, so of course she's not some skinny prick, but it's more than that. Even her power is perfect, instead of being one of those superheroes who pretty much fights by kicking and such, her powers are vastly stronger... which kind of makes more sense, if you don't mind me saying, since it's more likely that a kicking/punching superhero would be athletic as opposed to chubbier or skinnier, you know?
In any case, it's so awesome! <3
